    Subject: Intelligence Support and Reconnaissance (8. semester)
    Form of study: full-time
    Subjetc´s goals: Studying the subject is focused on characteristics, principles and fundamentals of intelligence in combat and non-combat operations. By completing the course, students learn about the place, role, organization, legislative identifying security intelligence and its importance in intelligence activities focusing on organization, equipment and principles guiding the work of reconnaissance units and their methods of control in combat and non-combat operacích.Naučit the rules and principles Intelligence business, practically perfect in process management and coordination of information gathering, reporting and evaluation of enemy intelligence preparation of the battlefield tactical stupni.Teoreticky is preparing to conduct a survey in difficult conditions and to create a comprehensive view of the ways of obtaining news and information, evaluation and transfer. Principles of activity of exploration and preservation bodies behind enemy lines.

    The students:

    • identifies the basic tasks of the security intelligence ACR and its organization;discusses the principles of management and execution of intelligence to the level of brigade tactical operations in a non-combat operations (intelligence cycle);
    • explains the principles of organization and conducting evaluations enemy and the battlefield;
    • assesses the organization of forces and means of exploration ACR, their material equipment, options, and usage policies (to a degree battalion);
    • analyzes the organization and execution of exploration activities with an emphasis on the acquisition of data and information in guiding research in various tactical operations;
    • describes the structure of the decision-making process of commander orders the structure and professional regulation, rule processing time and material calculations;
    • explains the principles of preservation of individuals and small units for tasks in the framework of long separation from their own units (SERE);
    • explains the organization and implementation of the survey for tasks in non-combat operations;
    • describes the organization and the possibility of aerial reconnaissance ACR with an emphasis on the possibilities of unmanned reconnaissance in combat and non-combat operations;
    • He describes the weapons and technical means of forces and resources exploration ACR, the TTD;
    • preparation of the business, foundations and rules for their use, security arrangements and principles of their operation, maintenance and storage;
    • describes the organization of prisoner interrogation in the field;
    • It describes the forms, methods and means of preparing commanders and troops, including policy planning, management and evaluation of training reconnaissance units.

    The students:

    • handles combat and exhibit intelligence documents and intelligence reports;
    • governing the collection of information during the task;
    • evaluates data and information and their impact on the success of warfare;
    • sets out the priorities for each phase of the intelligence cycle and its implementation;
    • compares the basic tasks of individual species survey and their organizations in the Army;
    • uses technical resources exploration, weapons and weapon systems included in the arsenal of reconnaissance platoons and the platoons of army branches and services;
    • organizes and manages the activities at various ways of obtaining information, including OTH;
    • zpracovová combat documentation, to a degree reconnaissance platoon;
    • using means of communication and information support, and radio traffic;
    • applying the principles of command and control reconnaissance units, the permanent commander of the operational procedures for the planning and management unit;
    • prepare and organize the questioning prisoners in field conditions;
    • applying the principles of self-preservation and overcome natural and artificial obstacles, including overcoming water flows through improvised means RPI separation from the unit and restore combat capability of reconnaissance units.

    • exercises with computer support for cSSTI;
    • 2 cv. at HRG, 4 cv. firing of Pi and LO;
    • 1,2,3 cv. shooting from KBVP and BMP-2
    • sharp tearing;
    • Military driving license "C", permission to follow OT wheeled and tracked vehicles.

    • Studying in the course is focused on the principles of the Intelligence Warfighting Function and its importance in intelligence activities focusing on an organization, an equipment and principles guiding the work of Reconnaissance units and their methods of a management in a conducting of Reconnaissance and it creates a comprehensive view of the ways of getting reports and information, their evaluation and a transfer.

      Graduate of the relevant course will demonstrate:

      - Identifies the basic tasks of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic´s (ACR) Intelligence Warfighting Function and its organization;

      - Discusses the principles of a management and an implementation of intelligence to the level of Brigade during tactical operations and non-combat operations (intelligence process);

      - Explains the principles governing the organization and an implementation of the evaluation of an enemy and the battlefield,

      - Assesses the ACR ´s organization of personnel and resources, their material Reconnaissance equipment, options and principles of application (to the level of Battalion);

      - Analyzes the organization and implementation of the Reconnaissance, with an emphasis on activities in obtaining data and information in conducting Reconnaissance in a variety of tactical activities;

      - Describes the structure of the decision-making process of the commander, the structure of orders and professional regulations, rules for processing time and material calculations;

      - Explains the principles of self-preservation of individuals and small units for tasks in the context of long-term separation from their own units (SERE);

      - Explains the organization and implementation of the Reconnaissance in the tasks in non-combat operations;

      - Describes the organization and the possibilities of aerial Reconnaissance of the ACR with an emphasis on the possibility of using unmanned Reconnaissance in combat and non-combat operations;

      - Describes the weapons and technical means, personnel and means of Reconnaissance of the ACR, their tactical and technical data (TTD), preparation for action, foundations and rules of use, safety measures, principles of their operation, maintenance and storage;

      - Describes the organization of the interrogation of prisoners in the field;

      - Describes forms, methods and means of preparing-training commanders and units, including the principles of planning, management and evaluation of training of Reconnaissance units;

      - Describes the principles of command and control of units, the creation of standing operational procedures, principles of planning and decision-making process;

      - Remembers the basic principles of Parachute training;

      - Describes the use of the Engineer material, explosives, detonators, methods of use of traps in the tasks, ways of laying and collecting the minefields and traps including improvised explosive devices and improvised camouflage;

      - Describes communication means of Reconnaissance units, method of operation and the principles of their use;

      - Describes methods of implementation of medical training with an emphasis on first aid during a performance of the task of Reconnaissance units;

      Skills:

      - Establishes a combat and reporting intelligence documents and intelligence reports;

      - Manages the collection of information during the task;

      - Evaluates the obtained data and information and their impact on successful warfare;

      - Sets out the priorities for each phase of the intelligence cycle and its implementation;

      - Compares the basic tasks of each type of Reconnaissance  and their organization in the ACR;

      - Uses technical means of Reconnaissance, weapons and weapon systems included in the armament of Reconnaissance platoons and in platoons other kinds of armed forces and services;

      - Organizes and directs the activities at different ways of obtaining information, including Field HUMINT (OTH Operational-Tactical HUMINT) and during  Reconnaissance in various types of combat activities with the use of technical means of Reconnaissance;

      - Establishes a combat documentation to the level of Reconnaissance platoon;

      - Uses the means of communication and information support and radio operation;

      - Applies the principles of command and control of Reconnaissance units, standing operating procedures of a commander during the planning and management of units;

      - Applies the principles of self-preservation and overcoming natural and man-made obstacles, including overcoming of rivers using improvised devices when separated from own unit and during the rebuilding of the combat capability of Reconnaissance units;

      - Prepares and organizes the questioning of prisoners in the field;

      - Evaluates the use of air Reconnaissance means of the ACR with an emphasis on the possibility of using unmanned Reconnaissance means;

      - Assesses trends in the development of technical means of Reconnaissance and their use;

      - Prepares and organizes the insertion into an area of Reconnaissance, inter alia rappel from a hover or landing or parachute from helicopter / airplane;

      - Applies the principles of keeping accurate firing with organic weapons at greater distances;

      General competences:

      • Is capable of using theoretical knowledge to plan, support and guide the work of other team members in resolving the tasks of intelligence support of own unit;

      • Is able to plan, support and manage the acquisition of additional expertise of other team members during a solving tasks of Reconnaissance.

      Study course builds on studies in the course “Introduction to Military Art”, „Basics of tactics” and “Tactics and preparation of units”.
