      Study guide:

The course deals with the security dimension of the international relations. Individual topics will be presented during lectures that will be followed by interactive seminars where students will get acquainted with the topics more in detail. Students must attend at least 80% of all seminars and actively participate on them. For each topic, there are required and recommended sources (usually articles, reports or documentaries). The presentation will be uploaded always after the lecture. Required sources are mandatory and students need to be familiar with them in order to master the topic adequately. Recommended sources are designed for those interested to learn more information about the topic. Students are not obliged to study them.

Conditions for successful completion of the course:

The course is completed with a credit. Its acquisition is based on the evaluation of two criteria: 1) a written test on the lectured topics (max. 40 points); 2) and delivering presentation on specific topic (max. 10 points). The final test is carried out at a credit seminar and reflects on the lectures and required study sources. To successfully obtain the credit, it is necessary to achieve at least 60% of the total number of points (= min. 30 points).
