    Subject: Economics I - Microeconomics
    Form of study: full-time
    Subjetc´s goals: The goals of all lectures and other forms of education are instantiations of the general objectives of the course which equips students with basic knowledge of modern economic theory in the context of its historical development, explain the principles of the market economy mechanism and its functioning as a single, coherent and internally consistent economic system.
    Learning outcomes:

    Utilizing the knowledge of economic theory, the ability to critically assess the economic consequences of the current events in the Czech Republic and in the world, the art of listening to alternative views and approaches to economic issues and problems, the ability to form own opinion and prove to defend the opinion.

    • abilities:

    Using knowledge of economic theory's ability to critically assess the economic context of current events in the Czech Republic and abroad, the ability to listen to alternative viewpoints and approaches to business issues, the ability to form his/her own opinion and prove to defend it.

    • competences:

    The student is able to make decisions under risk and uncertainty.Respect for fundamental economic principles in real-world conditions. Preferences of the market or mixed economy with the knowledge of the public sector. Proof of economic literacy in the working and personal lives.

    Subject continuity: This curse is a precursor for the courses "Public Economy" and "Economics II".
    Conditions for successful completion of the course: 1st semester: 3 partial control tests, final test and final correction test. Course is terminated by a exam (from the entire range - microeconomics and macroeconomics).
