    Subject: Economics II - Microeconomics
    Form of study: full-time
    Subjetc´s goals: The goal of the study is to provide analytically substantiated new knowledge, deepening and broadening knowledge gained in the study of basic economics course. Provide students with prerequisites for their precise orientation
    in theoretical foundations of the subject and a higher level of understanding
     of its importance as a general base not only for the economic subjects.
    Learning outcomes:
    • skills:

    The students:

    • will be able to to use acquired knowledge in explaining the current economic and political measures;
    • will be able to explain and interpret the interrelationship
      of economic development and ensuring the defense
      and security;
    • will be able to apply economic knowledge in managerial decision-making process regarding the use of resources in the sphere of defense and security.
    • abilities:

    The students:

    • will obtain ability  to use actively the economic theory as thetheoretical and methodological basis for interpretation of socio-political, military and security issues and their solutions in defense and military areas.
    • competences:

    The graduates in the subject:

    will be able to understand the nature and content of economic categories as the theoretical expression of real economic phenomena and processes; connections, regularities and laws of economic development as internally harmonized system of microeconomic and macroeconomic operators; nature and content of macroeconomic and microeconomic analysis and their importance for effective decision-making processes in all spheres of social life, including the sphere of defense and security.

    Subject continuity: The course builds on Economics I as well as on a Public Economy and creates conditions for follow-up study of economic and non-economic courses.
    Conditions for successful completion of the course:

    Students have to be succesful in partial tests and semester exams.
